The three websites I used are:
1. Wikipedia.org
This is a credible website because it has non-profit organization domain, was last modified in April of 2015, and has more than three working hyperlinks.

What I discovered:
Website #1
The first website contained an abundance of information on the question, it provided knowledge on the different weapons, vehicles, ships, and many other sources of new technology created in World War II. It remains obvious how large of an impact the technology produced by each country predicted the outcome of the war. As the wartime military secretary of Winston Churchill, Ian Jacob states, "the Allies won the [Second World] War because our German scientists were better than their German scientists" (Website 1). He is basically stating the scientists who created the different war machines had better technology and that is how they were equipped to win the war. The smarter your scientists and engineers were, the more advanced and better your machines would be. While many of the weapons in World War II were the same as the ones in World War I, there were some new advances in weaponry such as how, "within only six years, armies around the world had developed jet aircraft, ballistic missiles, and even atomic weapons in the case of the United States" (Website 1). Thus showing how certain differences helped the Allies win the war. Not only did the weaponry and advances in that area of war strategy, but also the area of the naval forces. During World War II, there were many changes within the combat in the seas, "with the ascent of the aircraft carrier to the premier vessel of the fleet, and the impact of increasingly capable submarines on the course of the war" (Website 1). This change drastically changed the fighting accomplished within the waters of the war, causing for a better outcome and more effective way of war. These upgrades in the different areas of technology helped benefit both sides of the war. Primarily, it helped and assisted the Allies in winning the war and having a greater advantage in the war. These website showcases the different technologies and advancements made during World War II.
Website #2
The second website that I had decided to investigate upon also provided a vast variety of information regarding to the advances in technology during World War II and also included more options in which way to take the term of technology. Several different materials had been created either right before or during the duration of the war such as, "plastic wrap (trademarked as Saran wrap) became a substitute for aluminum foil for covering food (and was used for covering guns during shipping); cardboard milk and juice containers replaced glass bottles" (Website 2). These newfound materials made it easier and a lot cheaper for the supply and demand of various products needed either by the soldiers or the citizens back at home of the countries where the men of war had come from. The invention of various types of rockets and planes were also of choice such as, "The V-1 or “buzz bomb” was an automatic aircraft (today known as a “cruise missile”) and the V-2 was a “ballistic missile” that flew into space before falling down on its target" (Website 2). There new aircrafts were premier to the success of World War II, without these new progressions, the war would have not been as successful in accomplishing the winning of the war. The creation of radar, "was barely invented at the start of the war but became highly developed in just a few years at sites like the “Radiation Laboratory” at MIT" (Website 2). It gave the opponents of the war the unknowingness of a "surprise attack" that would occur, therefore giving them a better advantage at winning the war. Radar was invented to equip the pilots or captains, depending on whether or not it is in seas or in air, with the ability of attacking the enemy from a safer distance. These improvements in technology allowed for many accomplishments to be made in World War II as shown throughout this very helpful website.
Website #3
This website was coincidentally correspondent with the previous one, they both are under different websites and companies, but have the same author. It shows the sciences and technology advancements before and during World War II, it also states how these key advancements help to shape and mold our lives today. Not only including different war ammunitions and methods of fighting and transportation, but also medical technology advances had been created during the war. However, "Penicillin was not invented during the war, but it was first mass produced during the war, the key to making it available to millions of people" (Website 3). It was used back then, and still now today, to treat illnesses that would be potentially life threatening. Penicillin was not the only medical advancement made, as was, "The science and technology of blood transfusions were also perfected during World War II, as was aviation medicine, which allowed people (including us) to fly safely at high altitudes for long periods" (Website 3). Medical improvements would enable for the soldiers of the war to fight off disease and heal their injuries faster and more efficiently than in World War 1. This advancement would also coincide with flying and the ability to encounter with combat in the air more safely than before World War II. Simple "computers" were also invented during World War II, they may not have been as complex as ours are today but they served their purpose. These consisted of, "Electronic computers (that) were developed by the British for breaking the Nazi “Enigma” codes, and by the Americans for calculating ballistics and other battlefield equations" (Website 3). This helped those on the Allies side to interpret the different codes made by those on the Axis Powers, it also helped for the Allies to accomplish their goals of retrieving secret information, allowing the advantage in war strategies. These more unlikely advances in technology during World War II helped to ensure the foundation of our technology today.
